Governance

Congregation
Jordan Lutheran Church is governed by the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America) in that we follow their structural and operational models which provide for an elected council to manage church operation. Congregational Council
The Church Council is comprised of elected members of the congregation. Members of Council serve as representatives of Jordan’s congregation in ensuring that the church is operationally functional and spiritually sound. The Council meets monthly in Jordan’s conference room.

Reporting to the Church Council are Committees that serve various functions at Jordan. They include:
